About
Weather without noise.
nebo.now is a weather application built around one editorial idea: most of what a forecast adds beyond a single sentence is decoration. The page shows the conditions, a sentence describing what the next few hours look like, three coarse chunks for the rest of the day, and nothing else.
Two URLs coexist. /@lat,lon is your precise location,
rounded to a 0.02° grid (about two kilometres) for caching and
privacy. /{country}/{city} is a named place — Malmö,
Lipetsk, Reykjavík — for sharing and bookmarking. They are different
resources by design, not two views of the same thing.
Weather data comes from Open-Meteo. Place names come from GeoNames, embedded in the application binary so reverse-geocoding never leaves our infrastructure.
